Energy Operations Engineer

Withthegrid is a rapidly growing European scale-up in the cleantech sector. We assist grid operators and renewable energy producers in managing their infrastructure more intelligently and efficiently.

Your position as Energy Operations Engineer
-You ensure that Teleport Gateways become operational and perform optimally at our customers’ sites.
-Together with our customers and your team, you'll design the best configurations for complex energy systems. How many solar panels are behind a transformer? What’s the capacity of the grid connection? Can a battery always discharge at full power?
-Based on your ongoing conversations with the customer,you will configure Teleports based on their specific energy assets (such as solar panels, batteries, and electric vehicles) and perform remote Site Acceptance Tests and help develop smart local logic for the Teleport.
-Build strong relationships with partners and customers, translating their operational needs into clear technical requirements for our solutions.
-You'll troubleshoot connection issues together with installers.
-You’ll manage inventory and coordinate shipments of Teleport Gateways, at least until we have fulfillment centers in place.
-You’ll collaborate with our Energy Systems Software Engineers to develop smart control models that contribute to a stable and sustainable energy grid.
